Jaclene founded Asia Wine Review in Singapore after fifteen years across the auction room and the buying desk, convinced that the wines Asia drinks deserved to be judged against a scale built for Asian palates and Asian tables — not borrowed wholesale from London or New York.

As Principal Critic she sets the house methodology, chairs the blind panels, and personally owns the Asian Wines category. She holds the WSET Diploma and has judged at international competitions across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.

Before AWR, she spent a decade as a fine wine buyer, and before that, at auction. She reads the market as someone who has lived inside it — not as an observer from the outside.
