Yeo Xi Yang is the founder of Convivial, Singapore's first dedicated Champagne bar, and a co-founder of Champagniac, the city's largest Champagne festival. He began his career as commis-sommelier at Les Amis in 2012, before leading service at The Black Swan and Straits Clan and serving as wine director at Park90. He was named Best Sommelier of Singapore in French Wines in 2016 and 2018, and went on to win the Singapore National Sommelier Competition outright in 2022.
At Asia Wine Review, Xi Yang leads the category of Champagne & Traditional Method Sparkling, a discipline he lives daily at Convivial, where he has built one of the region's deepest grower-Champagne cellars.
